Angel Island Conservancy Wild Flower Hike – May 7, 2016

Join us and other friends of Angel Island Conservancy for a pre-mother’s day wildflower hike on Angel Island.

This is a walking experience, so there will be up to 4 miles total walking/hiking. We will walk at a comfortable pace, but there will be some hills and possibly rough terrain.

Saturday May 7th, 2016
10:00am – 2:30pm

The ferry leaves Tiburon promptly at 10:00am. We plan to be done with the main programming to make it back on the 2:20pm ferry (arriving back in Tiburon at 2:30). For those who wish to stay a little longer and go through the Visitor’s Center or Immigration Station, there will be additional ferries leaving the island at 3:20, 4:20 and 5:20pm.

9:30am-9:50am Arrive at Tiburon Ferry
9:55am Board Ferry
10:00am Ferry Ride to Island
10:30am-12:00pm Picnic Lunch (bring your own picnic, or buy one of ours)
1:00pm-2:00pm Hike back to ferry
2:20pm Ferry back to Tiburon
2:30pm Arrive in Tiburon

Option 1 – Tour Only – FREE (you pay cash for your ferry ticket at the dock, and bring your own lunch)
Option 2 – Ferry and Tour (Pre-pay for your ferry ticket now, but bring your own lunch)
Option 3 – All-Inclusive (pre-pay ferry ticket and purchase a box lunch from Angel Island Company, the on-island concessionaire)
Kids 2 and under are free to ride the ferry. If you plan to bring kids ages 3-5 please let us know as we can arrange another ticket for you with a lower cost (or you can pay cash for them at the dock).

If it’s raining, we will postpone to another day.
Children are welcome, but keep in mind that we will be hiking, and possibly entering areas that have debris in them.
Please wear sturdy and comfortable closed-toed shoes, and bring plenty of drinking water.
